The completion of Rönkäntie is delayed by a couple of weeks

The Rönkäntie project was supposed to be completed by the end of November, but as the work progressed, plans had to be changed and additional work due to the soil had to be done, for example excavation work was done twice as much as originally planned. These additional works will extend the completion of the road by a couple of weeks. 

- We have agreed with the contractor that the road will probably be ready for delivery on December 12.12, says developer Henry Tapiola from Imatra Rakennuttaja Mitra Oy. 

The creation of the bike path and the finishing works, including paving, are still left for next year.
