

Applied exercise is intended for people who, due to functional limitations, disability, illness or other special need for support, have challenges using general exercise services or participating in health exercise groups. Imatra has activities for children, young people, adults and senior citizens. In applied exercise, the special needs of the participants are taken into account, and if necessary, an assistant can be involved in the activity.

The group is intended for people who feel that their balance, coordination and muscles need exercise. The lessons take into account the possible movement restrictions of the group members. You can use a walking stick, rollator, etc. to help. You don't go to the floor during classes.

The group is intended for people who have movement challenges caused by illness or injury. Everyone can jog according to their ability. The instructor gives alternative movements if necessary. There are handrails around the pool, which you can hold on to if necessary.
Physical activity in the ball sports hall of the Imatra sports hall on Wednesdays. Various ball and precision game equipment are available, as well as opportunities for balancing and fitness. The instructor is instructing in the use of tools and functions. Come alone, with a friend or in a small group. Participation in the activity does not require registration. You can participate in the activity in the weeks that suit you. You can stop by for the entire duration of the session or for a shorter time.
The participation fee is 1,60 euros/person/visit. The ticket is bought at the cash desk of the swimming hall sports hall or from the ticket machine in the lobby. Assistants, instructors, escorts and therapists can join free of charge.

Activities aimed at young people and adults who need special support. At the action points, you can, among other things, play and practice precision throwing. Everyone can move in a way that suits them, standing or sitting. There is barrier-free access to the ball hall through the lobby of the swimming hall-sports hall. Outdoor shoes must be left outside the ballpark.
Exercise equipment is available during game time, such as floor curling, a ping-pong table, and badminton nets and rackets. Play time has the opportunity to do things both more calmly and more breathlessly. Indoor shoes are worn in the ballpark. The changing rooms are located on the ground floor of the sports hall

Curling is played on ice, the surface of which has a surface made of drops. The special swimming and gym card is a ticket for self-use of the Imatra swimming hall, sports hall gym and Vuoksenniska gym. To the cards does not include the guidance fee for guided groups of sports services. The card is valid for one year from the registration date.
