The indoor air working group coordinates monitoring, development and problem solving of the indoor air quality of the spaces used by the city.
Other tasks of the indoor air working group are:
- Shares and collects information related to indoor air problems among different operators
- Monitor and evaluate the number of indoor air problem areas and their severity, as well as the effectiveness of the measures taken and operational processes
- Gives the city council, group management and the management of the areas of responsibility recommendations on solutions for indoor air problems
- Acquire and share know-how related to managing indoor air problems
The indoor air working group meets once a month and, if necessary, separately for problem areas. Facility management manager Petri Nuutinen serves as the group's chairman, risk management and safety manager Samuel Venäläinen as secretary.
