The goal of the project
The goal of the project is to create a new ELINVOIMA model for employer cooperation in the Imatra region, which supports the employment of the long-term unemployed.
The project develops a digital tool that aims to find customized support jobs in companies and informs and supports employers in matters related to hiring the long-term unemployed.
In addition, the project expands the training model of the city of Imatra's wage-subsidized employees to new industries, i.e. skills are increased through study (completed parts of degrees and certificates of competence). in the cleaning industry.
With the help of job training, those employed with wage support are supported to find their further path to education or work. 120 long-term unemployed people participate in the project, and the goal is that 30 people have found employment or moved on to study during the project.
The project's target group
The long-term unemployed in the Imatra region, mainly men under the age of 30 and over the age of 54, and employers operating in Imatra.
