More ways for the long-term unemployed and employers to meet

The city has started contacting employers during 2023 to define their needs and to find new avenues of employment.

Companies can leave a contact request on the website, if they have e.g. recruitment needs. The project offers employers a job design service that can increase the well-being of the working community and clarify work tasks. In the future, the job seeker can also leave a contact request on the website.

— This is how we get to meet the employer and the employee. We offer support to employers, e.g. in applying for wage support, says the project manager of the Osamaise elinvoimaa project Taina Leskinen.

— The job seeker can complete partial examinations and obtain competence certificates. This aims to respond to the lack of workers in the Imatra area, e.g. in the cleaning industry, Leskinen continues.
