The public transport free days last for two weeks.

The familiar free days from previous years start tomorrow, Saturday 6.8 August.

— The free public transport days will last a little longer this year, so that schoolchildren have time to learn how to use the bus more. Buses do not run in front of the Mansikkala school center during the summer schedule, so route training cannot be done in front of the school center up to the bus stop, says the traffic planner Kaisa Pohjola.

During the free days, everyone has the opportunity to get to know the buses.

— Free days always get people moving and the number of users increases significantly, says Pohjola.

During the free days, on Thursday 11.8 August, public transport will switch to winter timetables. The winter schedule follows the previous winter schedule. Changes were made to the timetables of line 1 so that the timetables fit better with school timetables.
