The new bus is supposed to return during this night.

Everyone who was on the Mansikkala school accident bus will be checked at Kuopio University Hospital just to be sure. The students and two teachers have traveled to the hospital.

- According to the information I received, there is no problem for anyone. Passengers are wanted to be checked just in case, however, in such a situation, since they may have been exposed to smoke gases, the principal of Imatra co-ed high school Mika Strömberg says.

Strömberg has not been on the trip. Through Imatra, he organizes the homecoming of the young people with the rest of the teaching staff and plans to offer crisis help tomorrow to those who need conversational help.

The bus of students from Imatra caught fire in the evening about 20 kilometers south of Kuopio. They were returning from a day's skiing trip from Tahko. In addition to the driver, there were 31 middle school and high school students and two teachers in the accident car. The car suddenly caught fire. The passengers were removed from the car so quickly that many people left their phones in the car. Some left the car without shoes.

A new bus has already been arranged for the passengers, with which they have taken them to the hospital to be checked. When the nursing staff gives permission, the students and teachers return to Imatra. The return takes place during the night.

According to the information received by Mika Strömberg, all the guardians who were on the accident bus have already been reached by the passengers. The young people have lent each other phones. The school also approaches parents through Wilma.

Tahko had two bus students from Imatra. Another bus is returning home.

The city of Imatra will inform about the situation on its website during the evening. Parents can contact the school staff through Wilma.
