The renovation of the northern end of Paper ridges is almost complete

The finishing of the asphalt surface of the Paperharjuntie carriageway will be done towards the end of next year, and therefore the light traffic lane is now higher than normal compared to the carriageway.

- The job is coming to an end. On Mustarastankatu, we are still doing a little modification/additional work to the stormwater line, but I would think that everything will be finished within the next week, says the contractor Jarkko Lapatto.

At the intersection of Näkinkatu and at both ends of the retaining wall north of the intersection of Sorakuja, road barriers will be installed tentatively in week 40. The work will be performed by Saferoad Suomi Oy.

Traficom has granted a grant intended for the promotion of walking and cycling for the construction of the Paperharjuntie light traffic route.
