The application for the 2024 development grant has been opened

Money intended for the development of residential areas must be applied for by April 10.4.2024, 40. This year, 000 euros will be distributed.

The amount of development money was doubled for the year 2023. Money was applied for diligently and the projects were implemented well, so this year too 40 euros of money can be applied for.

From the development grant granted by the Building Control Division, you can apply for funds for projects that are implemented independently or in cooperation with the city.

- The bureaucracy related to the use of development money is light. However, you should start planning your own project and preparing the application in time. In that way, the implementation of the project itself becomes more efficient and pleasant for both the implementer and the financier. The projects have a 20 percent deductible, which can however be covered by site work, says the inspection construction master Juha Luukkonen.

Individuals from Imatra, organizations, neighborhood associations, village committees, parents' committees and other communities can apply for assistance.
