The Building Control Division awarded development money to 21 projects that improve the living environment

A total of €40 in development money was granted. Associations and individuals submitted applications for 000 euros.

The building control purchase granted money for, among other things, the renovation of fields and structures, the establishment of flower meadows, and the construction of a ball wall and fitness stairs.

The inspection construction master who prepared the final report for the division Juha Luukkonen according to it, it was easy to grant a grant to applications that met the criteria for the development grant. Some of the applications, on the other hand, were against the support criteria, so they were eliminated.

- We valued long-term development in the selection. In other words, it would be beneficial for the application if it continued the development work started earlier. That also speaks of commitment if the actor is ready to promote the project with collective efforts, Luukkonen says.

Letters informing about the decision of the Building Control Division have gone out this week to those who applied for development money, and the work to promote the projects can begin.

- New questions often arise regarding the use of money when the project starts to be concretely promoted. You can always ask me, and it is worth contacting me at a low threshold, so that the costs incurred in the project remain in accordance with the support decision.

Proofs of the costs incurred in the projects and reports must be submitted to the building control by November 15th.
