Registration for the first grade of basic education starts next week. Enrollment at the school is prioritized Willman through.

Instructions to the guardians of future 1st graders will be sent by email in week 50.

—If the guardians do not have Wilma IDs, the instructions, registration form and reply envelope will be sent to the guardians by post, education and training application specialist Juha Oravuo says.

The registration period for the first class ends on Monday 15.1.

We hope that all new students will register by the deadline.

The city presents a primary school

When registering, the school designated by the city is presented as the child's school.

Parents can, if they wish, apply for a school place for their child at a school in another region. At that time, the principal of the school center makes the decision to admit students based on the criteria decided by the welfare board.

With the same school registration form, you can also apply for a large-scale one for bilingual education. Teaching takes place in Imatra at the Koske school center.

You can visit in the spring

The decision on the school place is made during the spring.

An orientation day is organized for new schoolchildren and their guardians at their own school in April-May. A separate invitation will be sent to the event.

According to current information, 184 new 1st graders will start next fall at Imatra.
