Municipal forum open to everyone about the future of Imatra next Thursday

The city of Imatra will organize a municipal forum online on Thursday, March 11.3. from 16:18.30 to 2030:XNUMX. In the forum, we will think about what Imatra will be like in XNUMX in the light of current forecasts.

The Municipal Forum is part of the New Generation Organizations project (USO). Its purpose is to open future perspectives for municipalities and decision-makers.

─ Now is an opportunity to peek into the future and listen to young people's thoughts on what kind of Imatra they want. We hope that as many people as possible will come to the hearing and comment, Administrative Manager Marjo Kaulio-Behm says.

The event will present the future of Imatra from the perspective of economic and social change. In addition, the harvest of the Imatra challenge competition will be presented at the forum and the youth council's thoughts on the future will be heard. The event will be hosted by the deputy mayor Kaisa Heino.

The public can participate in the discussion by commenting or asking questions either using the online form on this page or on the city's social media channels on YouTube, Twitter or Facebook during the broadcast.

The link and participation instructions will be opened on the imatra.fi homepage on Thursday, March 11.3. well in advance of the event. Participation does not require any application, but you can participate in the forum with a web browser.

The municipal survey is open, tell us what you think

You can also have an influence with the help of a survey. The purpose of the new municipal survey is to map the views of the people of Imatra on how Imatra is seen today and what kind of city the citizens want in the future. In addition, you can leave your own development ideas and greetings to the city's decision-makers in the survey.

The municipal survey opened on March 8.3. and its response period ends on March 28.3.2021, XNUMX. Five Imatra products will be drawn among all respondents.
