The ski slopes are maintained both on Saturday and Sunday

According to the weather forecast, it will snow heavily in Imatra in the coming days.

Ski slopes are maintained throughout the weekend. The track machines start on Saturday morning and focus on driving the main routes. A new round will be made on Sunday.

The outdoor ice is plowed twice, both on Saturday and Sunday.

- If the snow comes at the promised rate, new snow will constantly accumulate on the slopes and fields. So there is no way to keep them in perfect condition all the time, but we do our best. We ask for patience from the users, sports center master Jani Niittynen says.

Today, Friday, the tracks and the outdoor field are in good condition. Maintenance work is done especially on the Karhumäki and Vuoksenniska tracks.
