The Urban Centers Association studied the vitality of the centers - Imatra's situation is unchanged
Spring melted the vitality of the centers. In the vitality calculation of Elävät Kaupunkiskestat ry, the state of emergency in April closed more than half (54%) of the restaurants, but with brick-and-mortar entrepreneurs still persisting, only 17% of the shops. The customer flows of the centers shrank to a quarter.
Executive Director of Imatra Kaupunkiskestutat ry Mervi Leinonen according to Imatra, there were no essential changes.
Vitality counting in centers has been done in Finland for more than five years.
The vitality publication is attached to the news.
