The city of Imatra will also organize summer club activities for schoolchildren next summer

The city of Imatra is expanding the summer club experiment to all school centers as a continuation of last summer's pilot project. Within the framework of the project, we organize summer clubs for 1-2 graders. The subject of the summer club is nature and the forest. The first 20 children who register will be included in the club. Summer club activities are organized in all school centers from Monday to Friday in the morning until Midsummer. 

- We want to expand the summer club activity that was tried in Vuoksenniska last summer to other school centers as well. The purpose is to offer guided activities for young school children, primarily in nature in the immediate surroundings of the schools. Summer clubs can be one way to support families with children after an exceptional spring, says assistant principal Leila Riihinen.
