The YT negotiations of the city of Imatra ended

The yt negotiations concerning the city of Imatra have ended. The negotiation protocol was signed on Tuesday 7.1 January. afternoon. The representatives of the employee side left their own dissenting opinion in the minutes.

The adjustment need for the negotiations was set at 1,6 million euros, which was estimated to mean the termination of 40 employment relationships at most. In the cooperation negotiations that lasted eight weeks, the adjustment need in euro was met with a smaller number of redundancies than expected. The employment relationship ends for 29 people.

17 employment relationships are ending in urban development and technical services, 5 in welfare and education services, and 7 in group services.

The management-level yt negotiations also ended today, Tuesday. They were implemented as a separate negotiation process. Group services out of the seven to be dismissed, three are management-level positions.

In addition to layoffs, part-time layoffs are implemented in the areas of responsibility. If necessary, individual layoffs will be implemented if other adjustments do not produce goals in euro.

As a result of the change, the job descriptions of several employees will be reviewed again throughout the organization.

The supervisors will notify the parties concerned of the actual dismissals by mid-January.

The dismissed persons have access to occupational health care services at least as long as the employment relationship is valid. A counseling event supporting employment is also organized for them by the TE center's experts.
