The recipients of Imatra's 2018 event support are known

The city of Imatra's event support of €20.000 is distributed this year to the following events:

€2000 Imatra Strongman Showdown 2018

€2000 Capital Area Phoenix Summer Camp with Ice Show

€1500 Lunta Tupaan match event

1500€ King's Feasts - Year of the Dragon

€1500 Gymnastics Federation's team gymnastics junior championships

1000€ Karelia Fight

€1000 Accordion Orchestras Championship Competitions

€1000 Imatra MTB

€500 Drive In Custom Bike Show

A total of 25 applications were received. The amount of support applied for was around €90 in total. 

In the evaluation criteria, the working group emphasized the economic effects of the event, the growth potential of the event and the cooperation network built around the event, such as the event's ancillary program and services. The event's novelty value and target audience, taking into account both locals and tourists, were also evaluation criteria.
