The yellow cabin changed hands at the auction
The city of Imatra tried an auction of the old property. In October, the city bought a small deserted cabin and its plot, which are located on Nuijasuonkatu in Mustalammi, in the huutokaupat.com service.
The cottage and the outbuilding in the yard are in poor condition.
11 people made offers for the cabin. As the auction progressed, they submitted a total of 37 bids. The competition was won by an entrepreneur Mika Taskinen, who bought the property for 4100 euros in the name of Ralog Eesti OÜ company.
─ First I will find out in more detail what the condition of the buildings is. If they can be restored, we will repair them to usable condition. If it doesn't work out, we'll clean up the plot as a building site, says Taskinen.
If the cottage could be renovated, Taskinen, who lives in Hyvinkää, would take it either for his own use or for rental use. Selling is not the primary purpose.
Built in 1955, the poor condition building has a size of 41 square meters. The area of the plot is 703 square meters. It is possible to build a new detached house on the plot.
