The tank is filled one piece at a time in a month

The theater in Imatra's coffee shop is a happy speaker. You wouldn't believe that this is the first time the group is meeting with this composition. This is the first rehearsal of the summer theater play of the Finnish TV classic Tankki riinne. Sulo will be seen as Vilén in the play Reidar Palmgren, as Emma Fairy tale Silvo and as Reinikaise Lasse Karkjärvi. The old man's son Juhana is promiscuous Heikki Pöyhä.
The director is the theater director Timo Rissanen handwriting.

Silvo, Palmgren and Karkjärvi have just moved to summer Imatra. The atmosphere is clearly excited and expectant. But what is it like to jump from the capital to the roles of a very gritty Finnish script?

- It's a bit like at the beginning of a trip. I'm waiting with interest to see what comes out of this. Time will tell how, for example, the environment affects the role. When I left Helsinki for Imatra on Monday, I already felt completely different, says Silvo.

Dialect is also important to what life is like somewhere.

- It defines being. I don't know yet what style of speech we will choose in the play, Silvo thinks.

Palmgren recognizes the mental landscape of Tampere in the script of the play.

- In this play, the fact that I once lived in Tampere affects my own perspective.

From Diskohile to Reinikai

What is the actors' own relationship with the TV series Tanki full?

- I haven't followed it back then. I was very young and it didn't interest me. Instead Neil Hardwick ja Jussi Tuominen (the authors of the text) have made a big impression on me, says Palmgren.

Karjärvi was a 20-year-old young man at the time of the TV series.

- When the series came out, I was a complete disco junkie. I didn't understand the program at all.

Satu admits that, even at this stage, the previous role performances in the series Tankki tirneen are a bit disturbing, but gradually the role grows inwards.

Satu and Reidar are also a couple in civilian life, just like their characters. Does it benefit or harm the play?

- In a way, you get into the play faster when the other person is already familiar, there is no need to get to know each other, Palmgren states.

There is also familiarity in Karkjärvi's relationship with Silvo. They are fellow students from the days of Teatterikorkeakoulu.

Ticket sales started well

In a light-hearted comedy, things are simple, the world is understandable and the people are sincere.
At Sulo and Emmi Vilén's gas station, there are no customers waiting in line because of the bypass road. Time is left for the twists and turns of human relationships, in which the son of a handyman Juhana and the village policeman Reinikainen contribute their part
The Kruunupuisto summer theater's premiere in Imatra is on June 27.6. Ticket sales are off to a good start, around 2000 tickets have already been sold in advance.
