In early August, places become available in the application process in March

A search is currently underway for the early childhood education places that will be available in the city of Imatra at the beginning of August.

You can apply for day care places all year round in municipal and private day care centers and in municipal and private family day care. The place is applied for four months before the desired start time of the treatment. In urgent cases, i.e. due to sudden employment, studies or training, you should apply for a place as soon as the need for care is confirmed, but no later than two weeks before the need for day care begins.

- In the March application, we will fill the places that become vacant in August, otherwise the places are in constant search, says Minna Leinonen, head of early childhood education services.

You can apply for a daycare place electronically on the city's website form .

You can use the form to apply for a municipal daycare place or a family daycare place. A private childcare place is applied for directly from private family day care providers, group family day care providers or private day care centers.

An early childhood education application is valid for one year after submitting the application.
