The town hall will open on Monday

After the renovation that started in the summer, the upper deck of the town hall will be put into use on Monday, December 3.12. from It is reserved only for those visiting the town hall.

─ During the next week, there will be traffic signs on the deck to indicate the places that qualify for a parking permit for the disabled. There will also be a two-hour puck parking restriction on the deck during office hours, space and safety manager Sami Turunen says.

From December 15 onwards, parking supervisors will start monitoring the area.

The customer parking lot in front of Kulttuuritalo Virra will also have a two-hour parking time limit during December.

The parking lots between Kulttuuritalo Virra and Tainionkoskentie are intended for Kulttuuritalo Virra's staff. The ground floor of the town hall is instead a parking lot for the staff of the town hall.

From Friday 7.12, the exterior doors leading from the lower parking of the town hall to the interior are open. from now on also locked during the day, i.e. customers are directed to the interior through the main doors from the upper deck. In the future, Mitra's customer visits will also be from the top deck, through the company's own front door.
