Supervision was intensified in the school area.

The old school in Mansikkala was vandalized the night before Friday. Vandalism will cost several tens of thousands of euros.

The guitars, drums and keyboards that were waiting to be cleaned and moved have been destroyed. For example, guitars have had their necks cut off, drums completely destroyed and other instruments knocked over. In addition, the equipment has been urinated on.

The glass door of the school's milk cooler has also been broken. The device was also awaiting cleaning and transfer to the school's temporary kitchen facilities. Video cannons and computers were also destroyed.

The premises were locked, but vandals have broken into them.

- The police, who went to investigate the place, have been notified of the break-in and the breaking of goods today, the city's property management and security manager Sami Turunen says.

The damaged property was in a part of the property where demolition has not yet started. The goods were supposed to be removed during the next week. Now the moving schedule was brought forward, and the refrigerators were moved out on Friday.

- In addition, we have intensified surveillance in the area, says Turunen.

A bonfire was also held in the yard of the Mansikkala modules the day before. The perpetrators have been recorded on a surveillance camera.
