Karhumäki field received a grant
The Regional Administrative Agency of Southern Finland has granted a grant of 150 euros for the renovation of the Karhumäki field.
The city originally applied for a state grant of 265 euros. The costs of the entire project are 688 euros.
The decision has been expected since the turn of April-May.
Now, during the early summer, practice areas and a grass field will be built on the field. The soccer field will continue to be natural grass, but it will get a new irrigation system.
Next year, the stadium will be renovated. Its price estimate is around 300 euros.
