The premises and structures of the Vuoksenniska school's A-building have been examined during the summer and autumn of 2020. The studies were carried out by RTA Olli Inkinen From Raklamit Oy.

Studies have found a need for sealing in the outer walls of some classrooms. There are problems with tightness in the window joints and in the structures below the windows. Pollutants can flow into the interior from these points.

The sealing repairs will possibly start already this week with class 206. After this, we will move to class 106. The work time estimate is 1-2 weeks per space. The groups operating in these facilities can move to other facilities within the school during repairs.

The success of the repairs in these facilities is monitored by measurements. User experiences also have a lot of weight. Further measures and their timing are decided together with the school management.

The matter will always be informed if necessary.
