Puukoulu users' feedback is listened to

As in other new school centers, the experiences of the users of the newly opened wooden school are also actively collected in different ways to make everyday life as good as possible.

─ At the moment, the feedback has generally been good and admiring the premises. Of course, some requests for development have been received. The city's own survey of users will be carried out after a few months, when more experiences have been accumulated from everyday life, space and safety manager Sami Turunen says.

Even before this, furniture supplier Martela organizes workshops for teachers and asks for development ideas.

─ We haven't stopped at anything. If there is a need and ideas, we are ready to think about solutions, says Turunen.

One change has already been implemented at the request of users. Originally, the canteen only had trays for the very little ones. However, due to the neatness and practicality, the students and teachers have already wished for trays after a couple of days of experience. During the Corona period, the use of trays is believed to have an effect that increases hygiene.

─ The tray order has now been placed, Turunen says.
