Imatran Kiinteistö- ja Aluepalvelu Oy starts cooperation negotiations

On November 13.11.2019, 18.11.2019, the board of Imatra Kiinteistö- ja Aluepalvelu Oy has decided to initiate cooperation negotiations regarding the production units of real estate services and land construction in the company. The start of negotiations requires the approval of the Imatra city council, the city council will discuss the matter on Monday XNUMX November XNUMX.

The background of the negotiations is the development of the company's operations to the changing requirements of the operating environment. The company's order book will decrease permanently for some functions, this may lead to the cessation of tasks. The company must take the necessary measures to adapt the resources to the operating environment and the order book.

- We examine the effects of changes in the operating environment. The company must ensure that the company is able to meet the needs of the Imatra urban group, that the resources are quantitatively correct and that they are allocated correctly. Adaptation measures may include dismissals, part-time hiring, furloughs of less than 90 days and other employment changes, possible measures are aimed at fewer than 10 employees, CEO Markku Puuska says.
