iMenu

In the iMenu application, students can choose in advance which food from the menu (vegetable or mixed food) they want to eat by Thursday of the previous week, i.e. students vote/tell which food they want to eat the following week. The purpose is to reduce the occurrence of food waste and make it easier for students to give feedback on school food. The food provider does not have to guess how much food needs to be made, and this results in e.g. less waste and the kitchens are better able to guarantee that there is enough for everyone.

Does not require additional resources, implemented by the City of Imatra and Saimaan Tukipalvelut Oy.
