Cultural, sports, youth and welfare grants available for this year

The operating grants for culture, sports and youth activities under the Welfare Board for 2023 can now be applied for.

The application period for operating grants ends on April 4.4.2023, 15.00 at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. Grants can be applied for by registered cultural and sports organizations and youth organizations from Imatra.

In addition to operational grants, associations, clubs and other similar actors can also apply for targeted grants related to culture, youth activities and well-being. Target grants can be applied for all year round. The grant must be applied for well in advance of the project's implementation date.

—In addition to operational and targeted grants, welfare organizations, work groups and private individuals can also apply for grants for organizing small welfare events. The events must be aimed at municipal residents and free of charge, sports and wellness manager Henna Jääskeläinen says.

Assistance forms online and from the town hall

The grant is primarily applied for electronically. The application form can be found in the city from the website.

You can also print the application form and return it to the customer service desk at the town hall.

In addition to financial assistance, the city of Imatra assists all Imatra-based organizations by, among other things, renting premises to the organizations from the properties they use below the value of the actual operating costs, and by assisting in the organization of events or activities.

Grants for events of a national or international scale are granted by the city government or the city company responsible for the grants.
