Section 42 Interaction when preparing a street plan
When preparing the street plan, the applicable provisions of section 30 are followed. However, the opportunity to participate in the preparation of the street plan can also be arranged in connection with station zoning or other planning of a larger area.
Section 43 Making the street plan proposal publicly available
The street plan proposal must be kept publicly visible in the municipality for at least 14 days. Participants have the right to make a reminder about the proposal. The reminder must be delivered to the municipality before the end of the viewing period.
About making it visible and the right to make a reminder is notify the owners and occupiers of properties bordering the planned areae. The notification can be sent as a regular letter. However, it is not necessary to send a notification if the person concerned has accepted the street plan proposal. The notification is considered to have come to the attention of the person concerned if it has been given to the post office for transport no later than one week before it is made visible. If there are other parties involved, information must be given about the making visible and the right to make a reminder in the same way as municipal notices are published in the municipality.
