It is possible to borrow a thermal camera free of charge from the City Hall's customer services.
A thermal camera is used to find heat leaks in the home, for example windows and corners may be letting heat out. With imaging, heat leaks can be easily seen and it facilitates the planning of remedial measures. Good energy efficiency is not only a climate change, but at the same time it saves on heating costs and the indoor air also improves, because dirty air can flow inside from leakage points.
The Lämpökamera is brought to Imatra by South Karelia's energy advisory service, which offers the residents of the entire region instructions regarding, among other things, housing, movement and heating method choices.
The camera can be borrowed from the customer service of Imatra town hall, phone 020 617 2253. The customer service is open from Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 16 pm and on Fridays and eves from 8 am to 15 pm
The thermal camera comes with a comprehensive user manual, and you can contact Tanja Nyholm for matters related to use: tanja.nyholmlappeenranta.fi, 040 703 3366.
