A lot of discussion, decisions about further actions in a month. First, each group brainstorms their views.

The Imatra city council held the seminar at the end of the normal council meeting on Monday. In the approximately five-hour seminar, swimming pool plans were reviewed.

In the seminar, introductions were made by, among others, the mayor Matias Hilden financial outlook, CEO of Mitra Lassi Nurmi from previous property condition surveys and the service director Arja Kujala and sports and wellness manager Henna Jääskeläinen hall project on the evaluation of preliminary effects.

The director of the spa also spoke at the beginning of the event Ari Aspia and chairman of the board of the spa Onni Hietalahti. They presented the spa's views on possible cooperation.

- The seminar was informative in nature and the discussion was rich. Nothing is decided in these seminars. Now, over the next month or so, the political groups will have a discussion in their own circles, and in February, on the day of the council meeting, we will think about what kind of views the groups have and how we will proceed, chairman of the council Anna Helminen says.

The next time the decision-makers will therefore return to the swimming hall issue together on 13.2.
