Vuoksenniska School Center's assistant principal has been elected Mari Leppänen. He will start in his new position on August 1.8.2022, XNUMX.

Leppänen currently works as a special education teacher at Vuoksenniska School Center.

The assistant principal's position is vacant because the current incumbent is retiring.

─ I accept a new job with confidence. Vuoksenniska has a communal spirit of doing things, Leppänen states.

The position was open for public application at the beginning of the year. Nine people applied for it.

Vuoksenniska provides basic education for grades 1-9. In addition, special groups operate in Vuoksenniska, i.e extended compulsory education groups, support classes and JOPO class (flexible basic education). 

Heikura continues in the joint high school

 

The permanent position of assistant principal of Imatra joint high school starts on August 1.8. Kristina Heikura, who has performed the same task on a temporary basis since August 2020.

─ I'm happy that I can continue with my work. With a positive attitude, we will continue to develop our high school with the strength of the entire staff, Heikura states.

The post of assistant principal of the high school was also up for grabs at the beginning of the year. There were four applicants.
