Olga premieres on September 14.9.2024, XNUMX. Ticket sales are already underway.

Laura Ruohonen will be seen in the main roles of the scripted play Ulla-Maija Järnstedt ja Kustaa Tuohimaa

Olga, played by Järnstedt, is old. Tuohimaa's protagonist Rundis, on the other hand, is an old soul who does not know how to settle into his own life. Both are somehow detached in their lives. And finally stuck to each other, stuck in the impossible. Olga is a story of love that cannot be explained.

— Laura Ruohonen's text is beautiful, funny, sad, weighty and light. He is one of Finland's most respected playwrights, whose Olga has been translated into several languages and was a great success, describes the theater manager Timo Rissanen

See you in other roles Aki Honkatukia, Hanna Kaskela, Marko Kurikka ja Joonas Vartiainen.

Olga is directed by Katriina Honkanen, who has visited several Finnish theaters and is also known as an actress.

— It's incredibly tempting to get hold of this text and play! I have collaborated a lot with stage designer Ia Enstera in the past. He is a really interesting person with a great way of looking at the world, Honkanen says.

The story of the play is an appropriate but atypical love story for this time.

— Olga shows a completely different love story than what we currently see, for example, in television reality series. Love is more spiritual in this play.
— Laura Ruohonen's text is sensitive and beautiful, but the humor also comes out nicely in the personalities of the characters, and different types of people can be recognized from the characters. The play was written at the beginning of the 2000st century and I wanted to keep the story in that time, Honkanen continues.

The hit that charmed its audience, Forever young, has gathered more than 4000 viewers at Teatteri Imatra

After the summer break, the musical comedy returns to the big stage in October.

"Forever young has been a huge success since Piaf, people have been delighted with this work written by Erik Gedeon," says Timo Rissanen.

A dog called a cat meets a cat shows continue on the Pikku-Hiisi stage on April 24.4. until.

In autumn, the children's play written by Tomi Kontio will return to Teatteri Imatra's performance calendar on September 18.9, and there will be performances on December 7.12. until.
