The three-week road lighting maintenance tour started on March 1.3.2024

Imatra has three maintenance rounds a year, the next one is in August.

The work is performed on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 16 p.m.

- It is typical that in different parts of the city the street lighting is then on even during the day. Bigger faults, for example in the cables, are repaired after the maintenance round, says the local supervisor Konsta Toikka Mitra from Imatra Rakennuttaja Oy.

Dark lights near school roads or intersections, for example, are ordered from a maintenance contractor to be repaired as soon as a defect report or observation comes to the city's attention.

If you notice a lamp that is dark or otherwise broken, please report it via the feedback channel on the city's website.

The feedback channel guides you in leaving a message. Messages sent to the channel are sent directly to the person responsible for the feedback in the city or subsidiary. The feedback giver will be answered if he has left his contact information.
