Some of the fourth, fifth and sixth graders of Imatra schools were given a road safety video course to choose from this fall, which allowed the students to practice creating a video script and get to know video as a medium.

The almost three-minute long video designed by the students of Vuoksenniska School Center is now finished and will be shown in Bio Vuoksi to all interested parties on Friday, December 10.12.2021, 17.30 at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. The show is free of charge.

The results of the media courses at Mansikkala and Koske School Center will be presented after their completion. All videos will also be published on the YouTube channel of the city of Imatra.

The optional media course is part of the Traffic safety work through media education in Imatra project, which promotes traffic safety for children and young people in an inclusive way. The video production company Sweet Karelia and transportation industry specialist Sitowise Oy together with the city of Imatra are responsible for the implementation of the project.

The project has received a state grant from the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom for Road Traffic Safety.
