Spring 2016 Eija Juut's acrylic paintings 5-29.7.2016 July XNUMX in the hallway gallery

Eija Juuti (born 1949 Imatra) is a passionate painter. Decades ago, he started with oil painting in courses at the Labor College. He continued to paint with watercolors, and the latest addition is acrylic painting. He is also an active member of the Imatra art association.

The desire to develop and the desire to paint has taken Juuti to numerous summer courses. One important teacher on the journey has been the Finnish-Danish visual artist and visual arts pedagogue Piia Mesterton-Graae, under whose guidance Juuti's figurative language has moved in a more abstract direction. Among the bright colors, there are also darker shades.

All works have been completed during spring 2016 and have been painted with acrylic paints.

Kulttuuritalo Virran Kälävägalleria, Virastokatu 1, 55120 Imatra, open: Mon-Thurs 9am-19pm, Fri 9am-16pm.
