Instructions for everyday life and decision-making. Any successful organization must have these principles.

The Imatra city council has approved ethical principles for the group in connection with its strategic guidelines.

─ Their purpose is to serve as a guideline in decision-making and in the daily work of every employee of the city group. We describe the principles by which we operate, audit manager Arja Kekki says.
There are six principles. They are based on the law, but they also reflect the values of the city group.
─ Here, simply put, is how we should act in accordance with the law and with respect for each other. In itself, this shouldn't be anything new to anyone, but now the instructions have been made visible, so we put words to everyday activities. Any successful organization must have these principles, corporate counsel Milla Oinonen says.
Supervisors, personnel and the CEOs of the companies in the group's management team have participated in the drafting of the principles. Council groups have also been asked for opinions on ethical guidelines in the preparation phase.
