At the meeting, we want to hear young people's traditional ways of hearing more widely.

A group of Imatra city councilors will visit Koske's school on Monday 28.8. Meeting 7.–9.- with graders is carried out during meals.

- Young people have been hoping for low-threshold discussions. The wish has been heard and now we want to fulfill it, says the chairman of the city council Anna Helminen.

Education and youth manager Minna Rovio according to the idea of the meeting was born in a joint workshop of young people and adults. The name of the meeting also originated from there strike-a myth.

- At the beginning of the year, we mapped out with the Youth Academy how we would improve the participation of young people in Imatra. In the workshops, the young people said that the city's decision-makers are far from their everyday life. The idea of school visits is that as many students as possible, not just the most active ones, would become part of the discussions related to decision-making. For the same reason, we didn't want to organize a formal meeting, but we create a situation where the conversation with the decision-maker would be as free as possible, Rovio says.

The strike myth is accompanied by a coin dribbling competition, in which all middle school students can participate. The group that wins the competition gets pizza at Rosso.

Meetings are planned to be held in other Imatra school centers as well.
