Deficiencies related to customer premises can be reported

The Imatra region's environmental action has opened a contact channel for municipal residents to provide feedback related to the corona situation. The municipalities of Imatra, Ruokolahti, Rautjärvi and Parikkala can therefore report deficiencies related to customer premises to the environmental department by e-mail at corona feedbackimatra.fi (corona feedback[at]imatra[dot]fi)

The introduction of the new channel is part of the introduction of Section 58g of the Infectious Diseases Act in the province.

With the change in the Infectious Diseases Act, the environmental department also conducts inspections and controls at its control sites in connection with planned control visits. Inspections can also be carried out at the request of the Regional Administrative Agency and the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom.

In connection with the inspections, the hygiene arrangements of the customer premises and the guidelines related to safety intervals are monitored.

Hygiene arrangements and safety intervals for customer premises:

• All customer premises must have the possibility to clean hands either by washing hands or using hand sanitizer.
• Sufficient hygiene instructions must be displayed on the premises.
• In the premises, possible customer seats must be placed at a sufficient distance from each other, and otherwise the stay must be arranged as widely as possible, taking into account the safety distances.
• In customer premises, the cleaning of premises and surfaces should be made more efficient than the normal level.
