Food packaging labels

Professionally produced foodstuffs intended for the final consumer must have packaging labels in accordance with legislation. The requirement also applies to foodstuffs produced by large farms and foodstuffs that are delivered to large farms.

The food industry operator must ensure that the information given about the food is truthful and sufficient, and does not mislead the consumer.
