Veterinary emergency

The municipal emergency veterinarian of the Imatran Region can be reached outside office hours directly at the number 0600-16090. The price of the call is 1,73 €/minute + date/mpm. The emergency area includes the municipalities of Imatra, Ruokolahti, Rautjärvi and Parikkala, as well as Kyläniemi. One veterinarian is on duty in the entire region. There is an increased tax during emergency hours.

Veterinarian emergency refers to urgent veterinary assistance for suddenly and seriously ill animals outside office hours, i.e. on weekday evenings and nights at 16.00 – 8.00 and on weekends and public holidays.

There is no separate emergency room during office hours, but even sudden cases of illness are treated based on an appointment.
