The protection plans for the important groundwater areas of Parikkala, Rautjärvi and Ruokolahti have been made in cooperation with the environmental department, the technical departments of the municipalities, the Center for Business, Transport and the Environment of South-Eastern Finland and the rescue service of South Karelia.
