Young people, city representatives, trustees and experts participate in the discussion. The public is also welcome.

The city library of Imatra, together with the youth services, organizes a panel discussion about the lives of young people in Imatra at the moment. The event will be held in the main library on Thursday 14.9 September. from 16:30 to 18:30 and is open to the public.

The title of the discussion is "Are the youth of Imatra ruined?"

- The topic is really important, and we have especially requested a discussion event on youth topics, says the library expert Ari Sareslahti.

Young people from Imatra, city representatives, trustees and experts are having a discussion. The subject area is supported by a research doctor from the University of Tampere Antti Malinen and a non-fiction writer Tuomo Tamminen, who have published the award-winning work Let's Play? - Children's friendships in 1900th century Finland. The discussion is moderated by the person in charge of youth services Johanna Mäkinen.

The discussion event is a part My municipality project, which is coordinated by the Lahti City Library. The project has received the support of the Regional Administration Office.
