The Imatra collection

For the Imatra collection, the library acquires material made in Imatra, made by the people of Imatra and dealing with the Imatra region. The collection has more than 1000 titles of books, magazines, sheet music and recordings. More detailed information on titles can be found, like other material, in the Heili online library. In the online library, the location of the material is shown as "Imatra main library, Paikallise doseutokuleket". 

The material of the Imatra collection can be consulted in the main library. It is not borrowed at home.

The collection is kept in the Imatra room of the main library. The room is intended for reading and quiet work. There is a computer and a microfilm reading device for reading Ylä-Vuoki's vintages for customer use. Make an appointment with the staff to read the microfilms; otherwise, the room is free to use whenever it is available.
