If the book, film or other work you are looking for cannot be found in the collections of the Imatra City Library or other Heili libraries, you can request the material as an interlibrary loan from outside Heili. It is possible to get copies of newspaper articles. Interlibrary borrowing requires a valid Heili library card. Interlibrary loans are ordered and renewed in consultation with the main library. You can place an order for a long-distance loan either on the spot, by calling or filling out an electronic long-distance loan request form.
In interlibrary lending, the lending times and other conditions of the sending library are observed. From the beginning of 2018, the subscription fee is 5 euros for both general and scientific libraries. Copies are charged a fee charged by the sending library.
Long-distance loans and their due dates are shown in your loans in the Heili online library. When you want to renew your interlibrary loan, contact the main library's advice before the due date.
