Service hours end at 16 p.m. on Fridays in June–August. Virra's museums are also closed at the same time.

Local libraries will be self-operated for five weeks from Midsummer, i.e. they will not have customer service. The staff will still process reservations and returns.

- Books borrowed from the Rajapatsa and Vuoksenniska libraries will begin to receive an extended loan period already at the end of this week. This is to prepare for the fact that local libraries will not have service hours from Midsummer until the end of July, says the librarian Jesse Lindstrom.

On Midsummer's Eve 23.6. all libraries are self-operated and museums are closed. Thursday 22.6. the main library's service hours end and the museums close at 16 p.m.
