Imatra water's 2021 activity report has been published. The activity report was published this year in the form of a video.

— We wanted to make the activity report and the operation of Water a little more approachable, so we tried this method this time, water supply manager Kari Pietarinen says.

The renovation of the wastewater treatment plant is the biggest investment of the year

The last year of Imatra water went without any incidents. During the year, the water quality was regularly monitored both with the help of automatic meters and with the help of laboratory tests.

The biggest investment in 2021 was the renovation of Meltola's wastewater treatment plant, which was able to start as planned during the summer.

— Last year, we also carried out a customer satisfaction survey. Based on the survey, our services are considered functional and high-quality, which is of course great to hear, says Pietarinen.

Water's operating income was about EUR 164 better than budgeted. Turnover was 000 million euros and operating income was 6,3 million euros.
