Sanna Prior as the IB coordinator of South Karelia IB high school

FM Sanna Prior has been selected as the IB coordinator of the South Karelia IB high school. Prior currently works as a history and social studies lecturer at Imatra high school. She is looking forward to starting her new job and hopes that, with his solid teaching background, she can bring a different and new perspective to the job.

- I am excited to start the job of IB coordinator. I have been an IB high school history and economics teacher for a long time, so now it is interesting to see the administrative side of the high school as well, says Prior.

The IB coordinator's job description is currently being reviewed again, and at the same time it is becoming more specific what the job entails in the future.

- My duties include at least the coordination of the entire IB education so that the IB education works in Imatra and Lappeenranta. In addition, my task is to ensure that education is attractive and attracts students, says Prior.

As an IB coordinator, Prior spends about half of his working time and the other half teaching.
