The foundation work for the school's modules will affect traffic

The traffic arrangements at Koski school and the surrounding area will change from tomorrow. 25.4. from, because the foundation work of the modules begins. Site traffic goes via Kanavakatu to the module site. The modules will be erected on the asphalted parking lot between the Imatrankoski church and the main building of Koski.
The car parking lot moves behind Teletalo, where you turn from Vuoksentie. The moped park will move to the parish parking lot next to the Imatrankoski church.

- Moped riders are urged to be calm and careful when they drive to the new parking lot, principal Marjatta Koskensalo emphasizes.

Parents are also asked to pay special attention to the drop-off traffic of students, in order to avoid dangerous situations near the construction site. 

During May, the city of Imatra will install additional speed bumps on Kanavakatu, and in the summer a new drop-off place for students will be completed at the Vuoksentie loop and a crosswalk from Vuoksentie to the corner of Teletalo.

The area is under enhanced traffic control during the end of April and May.
