The spatial elements of the Kosken school are supplied by Temporent Oy. Imatra YH-Rakennuttajat Oy has made a decision on the matter.

The price is 2,2 million euros for three years.

The space elements will be placed in the parking lot between Imatrankoski church and Koske school.

The space elements consist of two two-story buildings, where a total of about 250 students from Koski School and about 90 students from Eastern Finland School study.

Due to indoor air problems in the main building of Koski school, it has been decided to move the operation of the school to the space elements from August 2018 until the completion of the new school.

- Meals will be arranged during the dodgeball in Tele-talo. The physical education arrangements are currently being prepared, Routti says.

A parking lot for the staff will be placed behind the tele house.

The Lyceum building will remain in use. Preschoolers and students of grades 1-4 of both Koske and Eastern Finland schools study there.

The city council decided to advance the construction schedule of the new school so that the goal is to start operations in the new premises in the fall of 2021. The steering group of the service network project has decided that the preparation of the project plan will begin immediately.

Guardians of the pupils of Koski and Eastern Finland schools will have a parent meeting on April 4.4.2018, XNUMX, when they will be introduced to current issues related to emergency rooms and the project planning of the new school in more detail.
